As a software engineer, you'll work within cross-functional delivery teams alongside other engineers, designers, and product managers in building software to help improve field sales. About our engineering department

  • We have iOS and Android apps that are our primary user platforms
  • Our mobile apps have a mixture of Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin
  • The iOS app currently is a significant portion of our user base with Android growth internationally
  • Our APIs are built primarily using PHP with Lumen currently being migrated to Elixir
  • We use Gitlab for our repos and CI/CD
  • We are a remote first engineering department

About you

  • You are passionate about creating beautiful and functional experiences for users
  • You demonstrate thought leadership with an emphasis in mentoring others
  • You have at least 9 years of professional experience creating mobile software in iOS or Android
  • You have experienced migrating a native app to Flutter
  • You have experience leading teams from behind, and choose to allow collaboration to form the outcomes
  • You love to mentor other engineers
  • You are a problem solver with a passion for simple, clean, and maintainable solutions
  • You have experience writing automated tests and appreciate the benefit that tests offer
  • You are self-motivated and able to manage yourself
  • You agree that concise and effective written and verbal communication is a must for a successful team
  • You have experience working on a few large-scale mobile applications
  • You are able to work within our core business hours of 9AM to 2PM MST
  • Your working location is within the timezone range of UTC-9 and UTC-3
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills (English)

Here's How You Will Make an Impact

  • Help drive the product direction and achieve a market fit for new products
  • Drive a migration to Dart/Flutter
  • Assist in the development of APIs
  • Build features and improve stability on our apps to enable users to be more effective
  • Help create best practices that can be socialized not only within immediate team but also across the larger organization
  • Increase our automated test coverage and deployment infrastructure robustness
  • Address security concerns and proficiently maintain our mobile stack
