Who We are looking for

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer/consultant to work on projects for our consulting clients. We expect experience with JavaScript frameworks and related technologies as well as the web platform in general. While you'll be working with Svelte and SvelteKit, we don't necessarily expect previous experience with the framework but an interest and willingness to work with it. We appreciate writing maintainable, tested code and are looking forward to your application if you share this appreciation with us.

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with product managers and designers and has made decisions that have directly improved a product for its users. We are looking for a candidate who can take a leading role in steering a project towards a successful release.

  • You will help clients with their projects as well as support our open source projects.
  • You're sensitive to clients' needs and you're creating trusting work relationships by reviewing code or discussing implementation options in a collaborative fashion.
  • You share your learnings made on client and open-source projects with the community through blog posts and internal presentations.
  • We're committed to our participation in the open source community and give talks, attend conferences, host meetups etc. If you enjoy doing that as well, we'll make sure to support you in any related engagements.

Skills

Must-Have

  • Working experience with JavaScript frameworks, either in commercial projects or open source.
  • Ability to balance customer-facing product development with long-term technical improvements.

  • Svelte and SvelteKit development experience appreciated.
  • Previous experienced working with different kinds of companies from startups to scaleups and enterprises is a plus.

  • Experience writing blog posts and giving talks is a plus.
