As a Machine Learning Engineer at Alias, you will work on foundational algorithms for near real-time face swapping of our users with their synthetic identities, as well as algorithms for user matching, content recommendation and moderation tools.  This position calls for a highly-organized self-starter with a passion for early stage projects and comfort with ambiguity. The ideal candidate should have a track record of effectively operating in a dynamic and loosely structured environment (e.g., startup).
You should also have a strong understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms Code experience in Python JavaR, as well as an understanding of machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn).
 
 *Qualifications*

-Experience in applying Machine Learning, geometry or computer vision to solve problems.

-Knowledge of the principles, algorithms, and tools of deep learning, including models, training strategies, training dataset building, cost functions, quality metrics, etc.

-Knowledgeable about convolutional networks and common architectures (Inception, ResNet, DenseNet, etc).

-Proficient in at least one Machine Learning library (TensorFlow, Torch, MXNet, etc).

-Familiar with traditional computer vision or computer graphics and comfortable programming in C++.

-Solid with software design skills and the ability to write efficient, readable, and reusable research code.

-Passion for top-notch visuals and a focus on driving improvements in engines, tools, and pipelines.

-Strong experience in Python and science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib.

-Strong experience in 3D computer vision and rendering algorithms including shading and lighting.

-Experience in applying machine learning towards rendering, preferably multiple projects with different techniques.

-Experience rendering photo-real digital humans.

-Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments within the VFX, animation, gaming, or similar industries.

-Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing) would be a nice to have.
