The Role:

As a Tech Lead, you will be heavily involved in the development life cycle of the solutions provided to each early-stage startup, from design to coding and testing. You will collaborate with the team to help them overcome blockers and build towards our mission of building a portfolio of 20-30 successful startups.

Who you are:

  • Experience working with: Java, Spring Boot & React
  • Bonus points for experience with Kotlin, Typescript, AWS, TDD, CI/CD
  • Strong product development & data-driven mindset
  • Passion for startups
  • Ability to set goals and crush them
  • Ability to clearly express your thoughts, and critique with concrete examples
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Self-starter mindset - You enjoy working in a lean, fast-paced team where you can take the initiative and generate results every day. You are autonomous and independent, but you also know when to collaborate with the rest of the team
  • Not afraid of challenges - you think being challenged on your assumptions and decisions makes you grow
What does success look like?

  • Work on new products every 3-9 months and build MVPs from scratch
  • Manage product technical roadmaps
  • Work closely with the founders of the startups and experience the highs and lows together with the team (we work as tight-knit teams with the startups we invest in and build products with)
  • Invest in startups through your contribution (sweat equity)
  • Lead initiatives to improve our company-wide engineering culture and discover ways to multiply the effectiveness of the team and the organization
